Context: When a user is no longer active on Calpendo due to leaving the facility, it is normal for admins to want to remove that user so that they can regain their licence. However, directly deleting a user, although doable, is not recommended as their details will no longer be available for historical use. We instead recommend that you expire users. If you expire a user, their details and related information and usage of the system is preserved and you regain your licence for that user. The user in question will also not be able to login to the system.


Steps:

  1. Find the user using User Search under Admin
  2. Select the user and click Edit
  3. Next to status select 'Expired' and click Save
