Context: In certain locations in Calpendo it may be necessary to force a user to enter a value for a field. This could be for something like a grant code for a project which must be entered.
Suitable for: Admins
Objective: Change a property attribute within the bakery
Steps:
- Sign in as Admin and go to the Bakery in the Admin menu.
- Find the Biskit in the tree view on the left and click on it.
- Click Edit
- Find the required property you wish to set to required and click on it
- Look for its attributes and click next to Required
- Save and Update DB Schema and Reload the DB Configuration
- Refresh the browser
- Now when you go to that field on a form, e.g. for a booking or project, if you fail to fill in that field when clicking save it will produce an error message.
