Context: When adding properties to a biskit to display something in either a resource or a booking, it may be necessary to ensure that this field can't be edited by users.  This could be because the field needs to hold a booking cost which will be updated by a workflow.


Suitable for: Admins who need to make a change for all users on the site.


Objective: Go into the bakery and add an edit a property


Steps:

  1.  Click on Admin and then Bakery
  2.  Under Biskit Def on the left hand side select Base Project and then Project
  3.  Under the properties for Project select Add New
  4.  If it’s a new property give it a name and select its type as well as any other relevant settings
  5.  Find the Automated Property Type setting and set it to 'Create & Update'
  6.  This means that the contents of this field will be handled automatically and only the automation is allowed to create and update.
